A little about me
I have worked as a graphic designer in book and digital publishing for most of my career. Employed primarily within the New Zealand publishing industry sector (commercial and educational), I have been lucky to work with a number of incredibly talented creatives, authors and wonderful brands. Through my work in publishing I came to realise that specialising in creative design wasn’t the sole path ahead of me as it’s the challenge of combining content, text and assets in ways that inspire learning that really inspires me. I decided to study a communications degree through Massey to bring a greater understanding of how verbal content leads to the visual designs.

Lauren is a creative designer who did a great job of hand-on managing an intensive project of 400, 24-32 spread e-pubs created over an 18 month period; During this time she managed her own workload and other team members, while also upskilling in all aspects of UI and UX relating to the online content platform, end user requirements and the e-pub templates. She also created marketing collateral and contributed photography and videography.
